Theresa Yong

Theresa Yong spent five years in the United States where she attended Art Center College of Design and later worked as an Art Director for Activision and The Creative Approach, Inc in California. She holds a B.A. with honours in Graphic & Packaging Design. Theresa joined Immortal in 1991 and became a partner of the firm a year later. She has extensive experience in branding programmes for the retail and hospitality industries as well as consumer packaging for both regional and international clients.

Theresa has lectured extensively across several countries including The Design Society Conference 2012 in Singapore, titled Independence: The History of Graphic Design in Singapore Since the 1960s, Branding Across Asia Conference in Vietnam, Icograda Design Week in Nagoya, Japan and branding seminar in Thailand & Taiwan. She was appointed as principle and business mentor to three young designers at Parco Next Mentorship Programme.

Theresa is also a Managing Partner and Brand Consultant for Quintessential Gifts, a Singapore-based retail outlet for fashion forward bag and accessory collections and a partner and Design Director for Paper Planet, a Singapore-based gift company with a focus on Asian cultures.
